Norddea Hokkaido, AC NAGANO Parceiro ladies, Bunnys Kyoto SC, Speranza F.C. Takatsuki, Aguilas Kobe and Je Vrille Kagoshima are Nadeshiko League associates.

Aguilas Kobe withdrew the league at the end of this season.

9 Nadeshiko League's teams and 23 representative teams of nine regions are qualified for the competition.

In the tournament, when regulation time of the match play fails to determine a winner, teams play extra time for 20 minutes (except final). If the match is still undecided, the winning team is decided in a penalty shoot-out.
